Parking permit

 General Requirements

• You do not have a parking space on land owned, leased, rented or occupied;
• You do not have a driveway/garage with enough space to park at least one car; 
• You are registered with the Municipality of Kerkrade at the address for which you are applying for the permit;
• For a work permit/waiver, you must show that your company is registered with the Chamber of Commerce;
• The permit and/or waiver remains the property of the Municipality of Kerkrade at all times; if misused, the waiver may be revoked;
• Should it turn out that you have entered your information incorrectly and therefore are not entitled to the requested waiver or permit, you are not entitled to a refund;
• A permit is license plate bound. This means your vehicle is registered in your name or it is your lease or company car;
• A maximum of two permits / waivers will be granted per address or business / entrepreneur. Employees cannot apply for a parking permit;
• To obtain a parking permit, fees must be paid in advance;
• You remain responsible for renewing the permit (in a timely manner);
• If your license plate number changes, you should report it as soon as possible. You will then receive a new permit/exemption against surrender of the old one;
• This is not a parking space reserved for you.

The parking permit or waiver has a validity period until the end of the year, the cost is adjusted monthly depending on the validity period.
