'Give a coat' campaign great success
In the month of October the action "Give a coat, warm a heart" took place. An action for all of Limburg in which Kerkrade also participated enthusiastically. Some 1,300 winter coats were collected at various locations in town. A great success!

In a pop-up store at The Bike Point, residents with little to spend were allowed to choose from donated winter coats. Thus, the coats were given a second life and many residents were assured of a warm winter. Alderman John Roland of Social Affairs was allowed to open the temporary store.
We thank everyone who contributed very much! It is good to see that so many people want to care for others.
