Omgevingswet
The Omgevingswet is a new law. We expect this law to take effect on January 1, 2024. The Omgevingswet deals with the physical environment. This is the space in which we live, work and relax.
The Omgevingswet merges and simplifies the rules about building, housing, traffic, heritage, environment, nature and water. The law applies to all residents, organizations and companies.
The Omgevingswet applies to everyone
The law applies to all residents, organizations and businesses. You will have to deal with it if you want to change something in your living environment from January 1, 2024. For example, if you want to remodel your house, organize an event, or if you are a business owner who wants to have a shed placed next to your business premises.
