Advertising on traffic circles in Kerkrade

More exposure for your business in Kerkrade? And contribute to a beautiful, green city at the same time? You can do so by bidding on one or more billboards on our traffic circles during our annual auction!

The Municipality of Kerkrade offers entrepreneurs from Kerkrade or entrepreneurs with a strong link to Kerkrade the opportunity to advertise on designated traffic circles in town. This allows them to present their business to lots of people.

Every year we host an auction where business owners can bid on one or more locations they would like to advertise.

We use the proceeds from the auction for the construction and maintenance of the traffic circle gardens. In this way, with their bids, the entrepreneurs also contribute to a more beautiful and greener Kerkrade!

How does bidding work?

Bidding on a billboard is possible only when the auction is open. Fill out a separate form for each position on a traffic circle. 

You can choose to advertise in your "won" spot(s) for one, two or three years.

After the auction ends, we will notify you even if your bid was not the winning bid. 

Are you the highest bidder on one or more boards? Then we will draw up an agreement in consultation with you.

As soon as we hold a new auction, we will post about it. 

Traffic circles with billboards

There are 16 designated traffic circles in Kerkrade on which advertising signs can be placed. A maximum of four signs fit on a traffic circle. Some traffic circles have fewer. A total of 50 locations are involved. 

The Map shows which 16 traffic circles can be advertised. At the time of the auction, we will indicate in the registration form which spots are available at that time.
