Current flooding information
There is currently flooding in Kerkrade due to heavy rainwater. We are happy to update you on the current situation and where to go with questions/reports.
Current information (updated Friday, 16-7 at 1:30 p.m.)
Please note that the soil in forest areas is saturated by water to the extent that trees can fall down, especially if the trees can also catch wind. It is discouraged to walk in forest areas.
Most of the access roads around the Cranenweyer reservoir are still closed. Both farms in the area are accessible to traffic. The parking lot coming from the Mensheggerweg is also accessible. Urgent request to stay away from this area, this can lead to life-threatening situations.
