Farewell to council with 5 awards and installation of new council

Last night was a farewell to the City Council in its current composition.

The following council members do not return to the new council:
Jo Bok, Paul Boumans, Betty Bremen-Munsters, Hein Driessen, Wim de Groot, Winand Heijltjes, Andrew van Horssen, Hens Housen, Harm Jacobs, Piet van der Mierden, Jo Rozema, Jo Severins, Jack Vinders, Carin Wevers and Niklas Wiertz.

Five of the outgoing council members received Royal Awards for having been council members for 12 years or more.

Mayor Petra Dassen presented the ribbons to:

Hens Housen
Harm Jacobs
Jo Severins
Piet van der Mierden
