Asylum seekers stay longer in the Rodahal

On Monday, May 23, 48 asylum seekers arrived from the Ter Apel reception site for a stay until May 31 at the latest. At the request of the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA), the city council decided to extend the reception until June 5.

The Rodahal offices will be available for the emergency reception until June 5 at the latest. After that, the asylum seekers must move to another COA reception location. This is because then preparations will start for the WMC in Kerkrade and a tenant will occupy the offices. So the reception of asylum seekers cannot be extended again.
