Tax authorities help Limburg flood victims
The Tax Administration has opened a temporary support center for business owners and citizens affected by the flood in Limburg. They can come here for various forms of assistance with tax matters.
In doing so, the Tax Office applies customization and takes into account personal circumstances and possibilities.
You can think of:
- temporary deferral of tax payments;
- temporarily discontinuing motor vehicle taxes.
In the case of entrepreneurs, depending on the situation, the Tax Office may also provide additional help in the form of:
- expedited processing of returns;
- earlier granting of refunds;
- Restore (automated) fines imposed upon failure to pay;
- Of VAT and/or Wage returns, for example;
- expedited treatment of provisional loss relief.
