Soil information retrieval

What is it?

You can request soil information from the municipality. This may be necessary if you are having the value of a building or piece of land determined. The municipality can check, for example:

Whether a soil test was conducted and what the result was.
Whether a report of an underground fuel tank is present and whether the tank has been remediated.
Whether business activities requiring environmental permits have taken place and, if so, which ones.

You can submit your request via our contact form. Please indicate in your message that it is addressed to the Environment and Construction Department.

What to do.

You make the request in writing to the Municipality of Kerkrade, Environment and Building Department.

The following information is required for the application:

The address (street, house number, city);
cadastral designation and a situation sketch of the address/parcel;
name, address and residence of the applicant.
