Outer Ring Park City

The Buitenring will be a ring road around the urban region of Parkstad Limburg, which includes the municipalities of Brunssum, Heerlen, Kerkrade, Landgraaf, Nuth, Onderbanken and Schinnen. The highway will soon consist of two carriageways of two lanes each. The maximum speed outside the built-up area will be 100 km per hour, with the exception of the sections through the Brunssummerheide and the Geleenbeek valley. Here the maximum speed will be 80 km per hour.

The Outer Ring Road will proceed in four phases to its full opening on Aug. 31, 2019.

The Province of Limburg is responsible for the construction of the Buitenring. More information about the ring road on the Buitenring website
