Drivers for Meeting bus wanted!
We are looking for drivers on a volunteer basis for Kerkrade's Ontmoetingsbus.
Do you have a truck driving license, experience driving a bus or large vehicle and do you like a chat and a cup of coffee? Then you are the ideal candidate!
The Ontmoetingsbus is a former SRV van that has been converted into a mobile living room. Meeting, connecting and sociability are the focus of the bus. The bus is at the same place every week on the same day. People can come here for a free cup of coffee and a listening ear. Or for second-hand clothes.
As a driver of the Meeting Bus, you will drive the bus to the pitches once or twice a week and pick up the bus again.
Who are we looking for?
- You hold a valid truck driving license
- You are not taking any medication that may affect your ability to drive
- You enjoy interacting with people
- You are stable, independent, patient and friendly
- You respect differences in standards and values
- You respect the mission of the Salvation Army Foundation
What do we offer?
- Travel allowance of €0.19 per km or public transport 2nd class
- A volunteer agreement
- Third party insurance for the hours of deployment
- Appreciation, sociability and guidance
