Coalition Agreement: continuing to build together for a vital and challenging Kerkrade!

Under the leadership of formateur Tim Weijers, Burgerbelangen Kerkrade, Ons
Kerkrade, PvdA Kerkrade and Ouderenpartij Kerkrade reached a coalition agreement based on very
constructive negotiations resulted in a coalition agreement. VVD Kerkrade
endorses the content of this agreement and has co-signed it, as a result of which
this party is also part of the new coalition.


Under the heading "Continuing to build a vital and challenging
Kerkrade!", in the coming 2022-2026 parliamentary term, the aforementioned parties will work together

outlines, but with new accents will be continued.


The coalition wants everyone to be able to participate and no one to be left by the wayside. The
municipality will continue to stand up for the weakest and most vulnerable in our
local society. Furthermore, the new coalition will launch a housing offensive that should

move on. The coalition is also strongly committed to an integrated elderly policy and

young people. It will also focus even more than before on citizen participation,
whereby promising civic initiatives will be facilitated.

On Wednesday, May 25, 2022, the intended aldermen will be nominated to the council by formateur Tim
Weijers will be nominated to the council.
