Committee meetings March

Committee meetings will be held again next week at the Council House in Markt. If you would like to attend a committee meeting, you are of course welcome to do so. You can access the agenda and documents associated with the meetings at www.gemeenteraadkerkrade.nl.

You may speak on any item on the agenda. To do so, you must register with the Municipal Clerk’s Office s Office at 14 045 or at Municipal Clerk’s Office The Municipal Clerk’s Office Office will be happy to assist you. 

Exercise your right to speak. That way you have a real say in the decision-making process.

General Affairs and Resources Committee
Monday, March 13, 2023; 7 p.m. in the council chamber

This month's AZM committee agenda includes two draft resolutions. The first decision concerns the council's views on the regional police policy plan 2024-2027. The second decision concerns a number of actions from the council and community memo, which are already being taken up with the goal of better informing and involving residents in policy and politics as a city council.

Land and Economic Affairs Committee
Tuesday, March 14, 2023; 7 p.m. in the council chamber.

The GEZ committee will discuss one draft decision this month, namely the renovation of RKTSV's artificial turf field and various measures at several sports venues.
Also on the agenda is an agenda request from Local Alternative regarding the Energy and Climate Fund.

Citizens and Society Committee
Thursday, March 16, 2023; 7 p.m. in the council chamber

On the agenda of the B&S Committee this month are two draft resolutions, namely an update of the Integral Housing Plan (IHP) primary education and the council's view on the 1st budget amendment 2023 of WOZL and WSP Parkstad.
In addition, the committee will be informed about youth participation in the municipality of Kerkrade and the evaluation of the application of the Compulsory Mental Health Care Act in Kerkrade.
