Politically Active Course
Always wanted to know more about the municipality and politics? After the success of previous editions, the Municipality of Kerkrade is again organizing a free two-day Political Active course. The course will take place on January 16 and 23, 2025 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the council chamber of the municipality of Kerkrade.
For whom
The Politically Active course is for residents who are curious about the goings-on within a municipality and local politics. In addition, the course is for residents who are considering becoming politically active themselves. In eighteen months, for example, the next municipal elections will take place. Perhaps you would like to stand for election in the municipal elections. If so, now is the time to take action and learn more about how politics works and how you can have influence. Everyone is welcome!
Politically Active
The course consists of two sessions. The first evening, Thursday, Jan. 16, is all about getting to know each other and getting information about how the municipality works. On the second evening, Thursday, Jan. 23, it's about politics, influencing and getting to know some council members.
