Sustainable heat supply in the Euroregion in the spotlight

The magazine Energiezukunft of naturstrom AG has published a comprehensive article on the opportunities and challenges of sustainable, cross-border heat supply in the Euroregion. Based on the cooperation between the Eurode towns of Kerkrade and Herzogenrath, it highlights how this innovative approach is taking shape.

On Sept. 8, Mayor Petra Dassen-Housen, Mayor Dr. Benjamin Fadavian and Alderman René van Drunen spoke with a journalist from Energiezukunft about the Cross-Heat project and the broader vision for renewable energy in the region. Their insights were incorporated into the online article, and an extended interview will appear in the print edition of the magazine this fall.
