European suffrage (Y32)

Model Y 32 (Declaration voting for European Parliament in the Netherlands)

You live in the Netherlands and have the nationality of another European Union (EU) member state. Therefore, you may decide in which EU country you vote in the elections to the European Parliament: either in the Netherlands (the EU country where you live) or in the EU country of which you are a national.

If you choose to vote in the Netherlands for the elections of the (Dutch) members of the European Parliament, you must register to do so with your municipality. To do so, use the registration form: form Y 32. You can download the form via the attached link: Y32 form. There is also an instruction available in several languages: Instruction.

Do you want to vote in European elections in the EU country of which you are a nationality? Then you do not have to register with your Dutch municipality, unless you have previously registered for European elections. In that case, contact the Dutch municipality where you live, to revoke your previous registration Y 32. Information about any previous registration can be obtained from your municipality.

Do you want to vote in the Netherlands for the election of the European Parliament and you have not registered before? Then complete, preferably in block capitals, form Y 32 and return the completed and signed form to the municipality along with a copy of your valid ID.
For the European
Parliamentary election in June 2024, the form must be received by the municipality no later than April 23, 2024. be received by the municipality.
