Additional energy allowance of 500 euros for low-income households
The one-time energy allowance for low-income households will be increased by €500. This changes the total amount from €800 to €1,300. This money can be used to pay (part of) the energy costs.

Then you don't need to do anything. You will automatically receive the additional amount of €500 from us.
Have you already applied for the allowance or do you want to apply for the energy allowance now?
Then the amount of €800 still applies for now. And not yet for €1,300. If you are entitled to the energy allowance of €800, you will soon receive the additional amount of €500 automatically from us.
At this time, we do not know in which month you will receive the additional amount of €500.
We expect that in the month of October the extra amount of €500 can be paid automatically. As soon as we know, we will send you a letter about this.
