Inform

To make residents more aware of the importance of looking ahead, the municipality continues to inform them. Some examples include the WoonWijzerWinkel, the use of government resources, offering residents a budget to purchase their own (small) energy-saving measures and the Kerkrade Energy & Climate Fund. The Festival 't Kirchroa va Mörje fits in with this as an accessible and approachable festival. With informing and inspiring as the main goal. Different themes are discussed at different locations. Beautiful examples followed by a "and what are you doing?" approach. Everything to make the municipality of Kerkrade and its residents future-proof for mörje.

Alderman René van Drunen: "With Festival 't Kirchroa va Mörje we try to get sustainability in all its forms in people's minds in a positive way. Awareness of what you are already doing and what more could be done was the final conclusion of the 2023 edition. When I hand over the baton, I hope I have been able to convince even more Kerkradeans to do their bit. Because the transition is something that belongs to all of us, not just the municipality and the government."
