Municipality of Kerkrade seeks new owner for Kerkrade-West sports hall

The sports hall is located at 90 School Street, right next to the Flexiforum. The Flexiforum houses several businesses, making the place bustling with activity. 

The building offers many different possibilities. It is 1600 square meters in size and sits on a plot of about 6000 square meters. The exact boundaries of the plot are still being determined. 

Currently, the building is zoned "social. This means that the new owner can and may use the building for various social functions. For example, welfare and Health, public health, culture, religion, education, club life or child care. 

Do you have a plan for the building, but it doesn't fit within this zoning? That's not a problem. We are also happy for the building to have another function after the sale. Think for example of office, or services. An exception is housing. So you may not make dwellings in the building.  

Do you have plans that fit the building? If so, you can submit a plan with bids through March 1, 2023.
