Conversation group for family caregivers

Informal caregivers usually go through the same thing and can mean a lot to each other. In a group, through understanding, time, attention and sharing experiences, they can often get a better grip on their common issue. For this reason, Ruggesteun and Steunpunt voor Mantelzorgers Parkstad will start a discussion group for informal caregivers in May 2022 in which meeting each other is central.

Thursdays: 05-05-2022, 16-06-2022, 01-09-2022, 20-10-2022, 03-11-2022 and 01-12-2022 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Equal sharing and being together is a great thing. Sharing concerns,
being able to ask how the other person handles something, providing emotional support and exchanging practical tips are central. Support and recognition are found with each other.

Two facilitators will be present who themselves have experience providing informal care. This meeting is organized subject to the current situation regarding corona. Keep an eye on the calendar of activities on our website.
