GGD investigates long-term effects corona

The GGD South Limburg is launching an online survey on long-term effects after corona infection.

About 60,000 adult residents of South Limburg who have taken a corona test at a GGD testing facility in the past year will be invited to take this survey in the coming weeks. This study is designed to gain more insight into the consequences of corona infection. To Map the course of long-term symptoms and other consequences, people are invited to fill out a follow-up questionnaire after a while.

The study also includes citizens with a negative corona test. This will be used to see which long-term complaints are actually caused by corona. Knowledge about this is very important in understanding long-term corona complaints and thus moving forward in the search for the best support for citizens with long-term corona complaints.

Everyone who has taken a corona test at a GGD test site in the period starting June 1, 2020 and lives in South Limburg can receive an e-mail with an invitation to this study. Invitees who have not had a corona test or now have no symptoms (anymore) after a corona infection are also explicitly called upon to participate in this study.
