GGD Zuid Limburg started vaccination of 85- and 90-plussers
GGD Zuid Limburg started vaccinating the mobile elderly in the 85- and 90-plus age group on Tuesday, Jan. 26.
Vaccination invitation
The group over 90 will receive an invitation through the family doctor. The GP determines who is sufficiently mobile to come, possibly with assistance, to the GGD vaccination location. Those who are not sufficiently mobile will be vaccinated by the GPs themselves as soon as possible.
The elderly aged 85 to 90 will receive an invitation through the RIVM by the end of next week.
The vaccination is free and the invited elderly people decide for themselves if they want to be vaccinated. It is not mandatory.
