Refresh your traffic knowledge for free?

We all want to keep running our own errands for as long as possible. Easily visit a friend or family member. As long as you can continue to do this, you have your freedom. But you get a little older and traffic demands a lot of your attention. So how do you Health keep you mobile as long as possible?

Anyone who ever wonders that can join Veilig Verkeer Nederland's refresher course. On behalf of the municipality of Kerkrade, in cooperation with the local VVN department and senior citizen associations, we are organizing a number of traffic knowledge refresher courses for the experienced motorist this year. Completely free of charge, at a location near you and fun too.

Why a refresher course is helpful. "Of course, you've been cycling all your life and have probably had your driver's license for years. So more than enough experience." says the project leader of Veilig Verkeer Nederland. "Still, as you get a little older, you are a lot more vulnerable in traffic than a 20-year-old. If something happens, the consequences are often more serious. But you do want to keep cycling and driving. For that, our refresher course can help: your traffic knowledge is refreshed and you get practical advice from our instructor."

What are we going to do?

You can join a refresher course where your traffic knowledge will be brushed up. Our instructor will explain old and new traffic rules, situations and signs. There is also the possibility for participants in this course to sign up for an individual practical drive in their own car. (You will receive further information about this during the course.

The course will take place on Mondays November 8,15 and 22, 2021 from 1:30-15:45 pm. (You are expected to attend all days)

(Our refresher courses are organized according to current RIVM guidelines, if the meeting cannot take place due to tightened RIVM guidelines we can offer you an online version)
