Kerkrade's first child center is a reality
Last Sunday, August 18, we opened the doors of integral child center Droomhof in Eygelshoven. In cooperation with the municipality of Kerkrade, educational foundation MOVARE, child care Flow and other stakeholders, this new center came about.
During the open house, visitors were able to view the building inside and out. At noon, it was officially opened by Alderman Jo Schlangen. From then on, Droomhof was officially in use.
The building brings together various facilities. For example, elementary school De Veldhof, Flow childcare, the GGD, Impuls, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and speech therapy can all be found under one roof. Sustainability plays an important role, and there is close cooperation between education and childcare.
We are pleased with how the opening went and look forward to seeing Droomhof continue to grow as a fine place for children ages 0 to 12. Starting today, it is the turn of all children to move into the new building. Welcome all!
