Tie PMD bags together and put them down like this so they can't blow away.
Seal boxes of scrap paper and cardboard tightly or tie scrap paper and cardboard together with string so it cannot blow away.
If everyone plays by the rules, we will have less trouble with litter
To keep the residential environment as clean as possible, there are also special rules for taking out garbage. If everyone follows them, our city will stay a lot cleaner.
Here are the most important rules:

Minicontainers for residual and GFT waste, PMD bags and the BEST bag.
Put these outside before 7:00 am on the day Rd4 comes to collect them, then you will always be on time. You may put mini containers, PMD bags and the BEST bag outside from 20:00 on the day before Rd4 comes to collect them. Putting them out earlier than 20:00 is not allowed.
Your minicontainer may not be left outside the day after it has been emptied. Therefore, bring it back inside as soon as possible after Rd4 has emptied it. - Waste paper and cardboard
If you live at an address where Rd4 collects the waste paper in the morning or in the afternoon, then you may put out the waste paper from 7:00 am on the collection day.
If you live at an address where Rd4 comes to collect the old paper and cardboard in the evening, you may put the old paper outside from 17:30 on the collection day.
In order to keep our living environment clean, it is important that all residents comply with the agreements on garbage. If everyone does this, there is also no need for us to take punitive action.
You can also bring your waste to the environmental park
Is your garbage in the way at home and will it be a while before Rd4 comes to collect it? Then you can also bring it to the environmental park. You can find the environmental park at Ir. Wintgensstraat 2 in Kerkrade-West. The environmental park is open Monday to Friday from 09.00 to 17.30. On Saturdays the environmental park is open from 08.00 to 16.00.
You can dispose of most waste free of charge at the environmental park. For some waste you do have to pay. You can find which waste this is on the Rd4 website.
