Kerkrade businesses clean up litter during National Clean-up Day

The Kerkrade company EKK Eagle Simrax participated in the 20th edition of the National Clean-up Day on Friday, March 18. The theme of this day was "Every packaging counts. The National Clean-up Day is an initiative of Nederland Schoon and brought about 3,445 actions to the table. The Kerkrade company EKK Eagle Simrax decided on this day to clear all directly surrounding roads around Eagle Simrax of litter.

With several groups totaling 24 employees, they spent an hour cleaning up all the litter present on the surrounding roads.

Jumbo Carboonplein, like previous years, also participated in the national action. On Saturday, March 19, 6 employees of the branch cleaned up litter in the streets around the Jumbo Carboonplein for 1 hour.

This kind of environmentally conscious action is obviously very much appreciated by our municipality. Therefore, we would like to give attention to this and express our thanks to everyone who participated in the National Cleanup Day 2022!
