Kerkrade in Christmas atmosphere
For several days now, the Rodaboulevard has been beautifully illuminated with atmospheric and sustainable LED lighting! Moreover, Christmas lights are hanging on the access roads of all industrial estates, providing an extra festive atmosphere throughout Kerkrade. Come and enjoy the festive ambiance and also discover the other parts of our town that are covered in Christmas atmosphere.
"It's great to see Kerkrade shining during this holiday season. This beautiful lighting is a result of the strong cooperation between the municipality and local entrepreneurs. We invite everyone to experience the magic of Christmas in our town," said Alderman Alexander Geers (Public Space).
Gijs Hilhorst (chairman SBK): "This initiative and realization is just a nice touch of the unique covenant of cooperation between the municipality of Kerkrade and the 6 business parks which Kerkrade has, called SBK (collaborating business parks Kerkrade). With support from the Entrepreneurs Fund, through great efforts of both parties, all business parks can get a festive look and the intention is to expand this business park wide. In addition, all business parks are equipped with sufficient public AED,s and at the beginning of 2025 will also all get fantastic recognizable entrance signs at all entrances. In addition to the unique multifunctional Rodaboulevard, we also want the other 5 business parks united in Connect K to shine in the future. Kerkrade a fantastic City to live and work, that is our Credo."
