Pupil council unveils building sign for new Droomhof child center in Eygelshoven
After years of preparation, the construction of the new child center Droomhof will finally start on the grounds of BS de Veldhof in Eygelshoven. On Monday, September 11, the student council of De Veldhof was allowed to unveil the building sign.
This gives Eygelshoven a beautiful place in the neighborhood where education and childcare work together integrally on the development of young children between 0 and 12 years. Present at this festive moment were, among others, Alderman René van Drunen, educational foundation MOVARE, Flow Kinderopvang and the student council.
The future building consists of two floors and will be largely on the same site as the previous school building, making the best use of space. Sustainability is central to the new building. For example, sustainable wooden materials will be used. It will also be optimally insulated and equipped with state-of-the-art installations.
