Altar boy and acolyte Parish of St. Joannes de Doper Eygelshoven (1971 to unknown)
Throughout the years, Mr. van den Camp has been involved in various bodies within the parish. From his elementary school days until his student days he has been an active altar boy and acolyte. These many dozens and perhaps hundreds of masses were the prelude to a long-standing bond between him and the parish
Member Procession Society of St. John the Baptist (1978 to present)
The Procession Society supports the parish in the festive dressing and organization of the annual Sacrament Procession, First Holy Communion and open-air Masses.
Secretary Procession Society St. Joannes de Doper (1985 to 2005)
For almost 80 years the Procession Society has supported the Church Council in the festive decoration of church activities in and around Eygelshoven. The society also provides ad hoc support for other church activities. In the role of secretary, Mr. van den Camp was responsible for applying for permits, inviting and accompanying associations, parishioners and setting up the annual meeting and writing the minutes.
Secretary Archer Fraternity St. Sebastianus 1703 (2006 to present).
Mr. van den Camp has been a member of the marksmen's fraternity for 25 years. From 2006 he fulfills the role of secretary with all associated duties. In this role he is, among other things, responsible for the historiography of the society. In the run-up to the 300th anniversary celebration, he made an important contribution to the creation of the anniversary book with activities such as research and monitoring linguistic quality.
Member Church Council Parish St. Joannes de Doper Eygelshoven (2006 to present)
As a member of the Church Council, filling the role of secretary in recent years, hot van den Camp is responsible for reporting, internal and external communication, permit applications, etc. He is also responsible within the board for the organizing committee 'Grote Kerk 100 years' (2021/2022).
Board member Laurafonds (2007 to present)
The Laura Fund is a charitable foundation stemming from the legacy of Steenkolenmijn Laura en Vereniging which operated for decades from Eygelshoven. Partly because of his profession as a journalist and specialist in communications, Mr. op den Camp is a board member not to be missed. Among other things, he has been responsible for professionalizing communication by setting up a website. In addition, the related work consists of contact with applicants for subsidies, preparatory work and board meetings.
