Mouth guard requirement for people with disabilities or illnesses

In the Netherlands, there is an obligation to wear a mouth mask in public indoor areas, for example in stores, public transport or the library. In principle, this also applies to people with disabilities.

However, some people do not have to wear a mouth mask in places where it is mandatory.

The Rijksoverheid website has information on who is exempt from the duty to wear a mouth mask and how they can prove it.
