News on the 2023 energy surcharge
In July, we posted the last message about the 2023 energy surcharge. We wrote then that we were not yet allowed to pay out the energy surcharge. Because we had to wait until the Rijksoverheid adjusted the Energy Surcharge 2023 law. The law has now been amended.
Automatic payout
We are currently preparing to start paying the energy surcharge automatically again. We expect to be able to do this by December at the latest. As soon as we know when the money will be paid out, we will send a letter to everyone who receives the energy surcharge.
Apply for energy allowance
Residents who do not automatically receive the energy allowance and are low-income can apply. We will let you know no later than early November when and where this can be done.
