Official opening Swap Shop Kerkrade
Last year, the Ruilwinkel Kerkrade West moved into the Flexiforum together with the Stichting Spelend Kind. Since then the two institutions have been working together intensively. Therefore, it was decided that they will continue together as the new foundation 'Ruilwinkel Kerkrade'.
In the Ruilwinkel Kerkrade all kinds of goods and toys can be brought and taken away. Thus, there is a wide selection for both adults and children.
Unfortunately, due to the corona crisis, the Exchange Shop has been closed for a long time. Now that the Exchange Shop has reopened its doors, it was therefore time for the official opening. Today, Alderman Wiermans (Social Affairs) warmly welcomed the new board to the Flexiforum. Alderman Wiermans: "I wish the new board every success with this great initiative. With the arrival of this new foundation, there are now two Swap Shops in Kerkrade; one in Eygelshoven and one in Kerkrade West. I am happy that more residents on a small budget can now benefit from this concept."
The Exchange Shop is located in the Flexiforum, located at Spekhofstraat 15 in Kerkrade.
