Transferring environmental permit
What is it?
You have an environmental permit in your name. Is this environmental permit going to apply to another person? Then you can have the permit transferred to another name. For example, you have applied for a permit for an extension to your house. But you will move before you have started the renovation. You can then transfer the environmental permit to the new owner's name.
How does it work?
You notify the municipality that you want to transfer the environmental permit. You do this in writing. Make the notification at least one month in advance.
What to do?
Contact the municipality (Environment and Building Department).
To transfer an environmental permit, you pass on:
- the name and address of the person who now holds the permit
- the name and address of the person who is to receive the permit
- For which you have the environmental permit (activity)
- the attribute of the environmental permit
- the time when the environmental permit must pass to the other person
