Maintenance of Levensbomenbos West

Recently, we have been working to improve the soil in the Levensbomenbos West (on Parallelweg in Kerkrade). The soil has now improved considerably. Over the coming months, we will be replacing all dead and nearly dead trees. 

We would like to ask all adopters to remove all personal belongings in and around the tree before January 19, 2026. The dead trees will be removed from this date onwards to make way for the new trees that will be planted later. Watering edges will be placed around the new trees. These are plastic screens. This ensures that the water stays near the roots and the tree can absorb it properly. 

We kindly request that you leave the space within these casting edges free so that we can water the trees during the dry period. 

In the spring of 2026, we will carry out some work to make the site more accessible again.
