Support statements and day of candidate counting

The chairman of the central electoral committee for election of members of the council of the municipality of Kerkrade announces the following:

1. From Monday, Jan. 3, 2022 through Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, voters can make statements of support at the Civil Affairs Department at the address Markt 33.
2. On Monday, January 31, 2022, the nomination of candidates for the election of members of the council of the Municipality of Kerkrade will take place.
3. On that day, lists of candidates (model H 1) may be handed in at the Civil Affairs Department at the central polling station located there from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the address Markt 33.
4. The necessary forms for
   • the lists of candidates (model H 1)
   • candidates' declarations of consent to their candidacy (model H 9)
   • authorizations to place the designation of the political group above a list of candidates (model H 3-1)
   • Authorization to place a designation, formed by aggregating the designations of political groups or abbreviations thereof, above a list of candidates. (Model H 3-2)
   • statements of support for a candidate's list (model H 4)
   • the declarations on joining the lists of candidates into a combination of lists (model I 10) are available to voters free of charge at the municipal secretariat until the day of the nomination of candidates.
5. A deposit of EUR 225.00 must be paid for the nomination of candidates by transferring this amount to account number NL49BNGH0285004484 in the name of the municipality of Kerkrade o.v.v. deposit for nomination and party name, unless at the last held elections of the members of the council of the municipality one or more seats were awarded to the political grouping.The deposit must be in the account by January 17, 2022 at the latest.
