Requesting documents during the holidays
If you request a document from the Personal Records Database online during the week of December 22 (week 52) or the week of December 29 (week 1), you can pick it up at the City Office starting January 5.
You can arrange many things at the municipality yourself online. For this you need DigiD.
Business owners, notaries, lawyers and healthcare institutions can also apply digitally on behalf of their clients. This requires eHerkenning.
For some applications, you still need to make an appointment at the counter in the City Office after arranging them digitally. For example, for placing a signature, issuing a passport photo and having fingerprints taken on a travel document.
