Join the conversation about mobility, traffic and transportation in Kerkrade

Over the next year, Kerkrade will be working on a new Mobility Plan. This plan will provide answers to the various themes that are at play within the municipality in the area of mobility.

By mobility we mean the movement of people and goods around an area, and the ease with which this is done. Consider, for example, a trip to the supermarket, a daily train ride to work, or a visit to friends or family.

Keeping Kerkrade easily accessible

The Mobility Plan helps us shape plans for the future and keep Kerkrade easily accessible for everyone. Consider plans for improving parking pressure in the center, traffic safety around schools or encouraging more active modes of transportation such as walking and cycling.

Join the conversation on Saturday, May 14

We think it is important to know what residents, visitors, business owners and other stakeholders think about the topic of mobility.
Last month many people already filled out the online survey, thank you for that!

On Saturday, May 14, the municipality will stand with an information booth at a number of locations in the municipality to talk to you personally about mobility, traffic and parking.

We are in the following places:

- Eygelshoven: Saturday market from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

- Kerkrade-West: Carboonplein from 10:00 to 12:00 a.m.

- Kerkrade Center: Markt from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

- Bleijerheide: Maria Gorettiplein from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
