Practical statement for candidates from Kerkrade
The Development Center recently successfully trained three candidates for a practical certificate. For many participants, this certificate is an important step toward paid employment. The candidates received their well-deserved certificates from Alderman Roland.
Practical statement
A practical certificate is intended for anyone over the age of 18 who does not yet have a diploma or who needs an accessible stepping stone towards learning and working. The certificate is nationally recognized and is issued by Vista College. Participants were trained at the Development Center for the practical certificate in service assistance and sales/retail assistance.
Within the Development Center, the learning pathways are developed in collaboration with Vista College. A personal plan of action is drawn up for each participant. During the program, participants carry out various tasks in the workplace step by step. The work supervisor assesses this work. If the results are satisfactory, the participant receives the practical certificate.
