Council meeting 01-03
On March 1, the monthly council meeting will be held in the Council Chamber of the Council House, Markt 1. If you would like to attend this meeting, you are of course welcome to do so. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.
You can take a seat in the public gallery, at the back of the council chamber.

Agenda
On the agenda this month are six draft resolutions, most of which were previously discussed at one of the committee meetings, and two motions. The first draft decision concerns the admission of two new council members to the council. Other items on the council's agenda include a draft decision on the Integral Security Plan 2023-2026, a draft decision on the council's opinion on the Framework Letter of the Regional Implementation Service South Limburg (RUD ZL) 2024 and a draft decision on the Regional Coordination Framework Municipal Environmental Visions Parkstad.
There are also two motions on the agenda, a motion from the Lokaal Alternatief group on the harmonization process at the BsGW (Belastingsamenwerking Gemeenten en Waterschappen), calling on the college to draft the council documents on this in such a way that the council also has something to choose from. The second motion is by the PvdA and concerns a call to take a stand against inappropriate expressions around the upcoming Provincial Council elections.
