Registration of political group GR22

For the election of the members of the council of the municipality of Kerkrade, a political group, which is an association with full legal capacity and whose appellation has not already been registered with the central electoral committee for the election of the House of Representatives or provincial councils, may request the central electoral committee of the municipality to enter in a register the appellation with which it wishes to be listed on the list of candidates (not more than 35 letters or other signs).

If one wishes to register the designation for the upcoming election of the members of the council of the Municipality of Kerkrade on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, a request to do so must be made in writing to the central polling station at the Town Hall no later than Monday, December 20, 2021.

Please note that if the request is not filed until Monday, Dec. 20, 2021, there is no opportunity for recovery of default. You are therefore advised to file the request in a timely manner.

For this registration, a deposit of 112.50 euros must be transferred to a designated account of the municipality.

The person who makes the payment will receive a certificate thereof.
Upon submission of a valid list of candidates for the upcoming election, the deposit will be refunded.

The request must be accompanied by:

• a. a copy of the notarial deed containing the association's bylaws;
• b. a certificate of registration in the register kept by the Chamber of Commerce;
• c. proof of payment of the above deposit;
• d. a statement by the political group designating its proxy and deputy proxy to the central electoral college.
