Swap store in the Flexiforum remodeled and revamped

Over the past winter months, the Ruilwinkel Kerkrade in the Flexiforum has been remodeled and renewed. There is a new floor, LED lighting, new colors have been applied to the walls and, of course, lots of nice items. It has become a beautiful and orderly store, in which the toy department has been merged with the rest of the Ruilwinkel.

As of Feb. 28, the Swap Shop is open to customers again. On March 30, the renovated store will be officially opened by Alderman Roland. For all visitors on that day, the Ruilwinkel has a nice gift.

In the Swap Shop you don't need money, because stuff is turned in for points. With those points, new items can be "bought" again. The barter store has over 4000 members and over 40 volunteers.

The Ruilwinkel is there for residents of the municipality of Kerkrade, who in one way or another face social disadvantage. On the central square in front of the Ruilwinkel is a meeting table where people can have a cup of coffee or tea and naturally get in touch with each other and possibly ask for help.
