Ruilwinkel Kerkrade is now a recognized learning company
In April, the Exchange Shop at the Flexiforum received recognition as a learning company. A beautiful and valuable development for job seekers in Kerkrade. In the Ruilwinkel they can be trained to become professionals with a good chance of moving on to the labor market. Alderman John Roland, together with the board, was allowed to provide the Ruilwinkel with the sticker on the door.
For the Exchange store, mentoring job seekers is nothing new. But the formal recognition as a learning company is a nice crown to the investment in professionals in the retail industry. The first candidates have already started working as part of the practical route. Upon completion, VISTA will issue the practical certificates.
The Exchange Shop is affiliated as a learning company with the Flexiforum Development Center that is currently being set up. The Development Center focuses on seeking and finding job opportunities and developing talents. The candidates, residents with benefits under the Participation Act, are prepared here for the labor market. In addition to the Ruilwinkel, Woonzorg Elisabeth Stift, the municipality of Kerkrade and the Flexiforum also offer work-study programs.
