Making Kerkrade Together!
The municipality proudly launched the "Samen Kerkrade Maken" campaign during the Euregio Parade on June 30 aimed at gathering the ideas and suggestions of its residents. It is the first time Kerkrade has gone public with this campaign, with the aim of increasing community involvement and working together to build a better future for the town.
Alderman John Roland explains, "We believe strongly in the strength of our own residents. The best ideas often come from the people who live and work here. They know the living environment like no other. With this campaign, we want to provide a platform where every resident can make his or her voice heard."
The campaign provides several channels for residents to submit their ideas, including the municipal website and the physical ideas box located at events. All submitted ideas are carefully considered. The most feasible and realizable proposals will be developed by the municipality in cooperation with the initiator(s).
The congregation has already received a number of great ideas. The enthusiasm is tremendous! Many idea cards have already been handed out. In the coming period, 'Samen Kerkrade Maken' will be at more events to collect even more ideas and suggestions. Keep an eye on our communication channels for this!
Kerkrade invites all its residents to participate and make their voices heard. Together we are building an even more beautiful, livable and dynamic town. Want to submit an idea, have a great suggestion or want more information? Go to www.samenkerkrade.nl.
