Subsidy scheme for sports youth trainers still open until Dec. 30, 2022

Province of Limburg has opened the Subsidie Opleiding Jeugdtrainers 2021 - 2022 until December 30, 2022. Until then, it is possible for amateur sports associations to apply for a subsidy to train youth trainers. In this way, Province of Limburg wants to contribute to youth sports participation by investing in more and better trained youth trainers. Well-trained youth trainers make sports for young people not only more fun, but also healthier.

This fits with the ambition of the Province of Limburg to make Limburg the healthiest, sportiest and most innovative region in the Netherlands. Sports should be possible for everyone, especially for our young people. After all, sports and exercise ensure a healthy physical and psychological development. Youth trainers play an important role in binding young people to sport and their association. The maximum amount of subsidy to be provided is €500.00 per amateur sports organization.
