Training job team for warm living room

With the project "The Warm Living Room," the municipality of Kerkrade aims to help residents on a small budget keep their homes warmer more easily.

Impuls' handyman team comes to people's homes free of charge and helps them by doing a number of odd jobs. Examples include sealing holes and cracks, applying draft strips, attaching radiator foil and venting the radiator. Small things that together can make a big difference on energy bills.

The training
On Wednesday, March 5, the training of the handyman team took place at the WoonWijzerWinkel Limburg. During this training, the handymen learned how to perform the various tasks. They were also told about the usefulness of the measures and the benefits they bring to a home.

The Alderman also attended the training. Alderman René van Drunen (Sustainability): "With the project 'The warm living room' and the exemplary efforts of the handyman team, together we are taking a step toward a more comfortable and sustainable life for all our residents. This is how we are working together on 't Kirchroa va Mörje."
