Hand in two free bulky waste at an Rd4 environmental park
Residents of Kerkrade can bring their bulky waste to an Rd4 environmental park twice for free this year. After these two times, they have to pay for this.
Bulky waste is waste that Rd4 cannot separate and that does not fit in the residual waste container. Bulky waste is incinerated. This is not only less good for the environment, it is also more expensive. Moreover, reusable raw materials are often lost in the process.
Most waste can be very well recycled or reused. These include hard plastics, styrofoam, recycled items and scrap iron. You can bring this waste to the environmental park for free.
Free trash drop-off
You can ensure less bulky waste by taking apart items that consist of multiple types of waste before taking them to the environmental park. Consider, for example, a chair made of hard plastic with metal legs. In fact, many items can be offered free of charge indefinitely if you take them to the environmental park separately.
