Starting April 15, you will receive announcements automatically in your inbox
Are you 25 or older and have an account in MijnOverheid? Then from April 15 you will automatically receive an e-mail from Overheid.nl containing announcements. We call these notices "Messages about your Neighborhood.
What renovation does your neighbor want to have done to their house? Can that tree on your street be cut down? Many decisions made by the government directly affect your town, village or neighborhood. We as a municipality and other government organizations are required to make this known (digitally).
With Messages About Your Neighborhood, the government wants to keep you better informed about issues that are going on in your own neighborhood. It also makes it clear how you can have your say or file an objection.
You will receive an e-mail about this every week. So you can stay informed and respond to developments in your neighborhood in a timely manner. If there are no new announcements, you will not receive an email.
You can read more information on the information page on the government.com website
You will first receive a welcome email
Every resident of Kerkrade aged 25 and older whose email address is known to MijnOverheid will first receive a welcome email starting April 15. This contains all the information you need.
Do you find one message a week too much, or just too little? Via MijnOverheid you can specify how often you want to receive the e-mail and how large an area the notifications cover.
Don't want to receive emails? Then you can easily unsubscribe right away.
Always check the sender
You will receive the Messages About Your Neighborhood from Government.com. The e-mail contains links to website addresses so you can easily and quickly access the information. Unfortunately, criminals are also active on the Internet. Using links in fake e-mails, they try to lure you to fake websites (phishing). Therefore, always check the sender (noreply@overheid.nl) before clicking on a link.
