Renewal of Hamstraat - Voorterstraat traffic circle.

From the middle of 2026 we want to work on the Hamstraat-Voorterstraat traffic circle. Due to the construction of the Buitenring Parkstad Limburg (N300), congestion of traffic coming from the Buitenring regularly occurs in the evening rush hour near the Hamstraat/Voorterstraat traffic circle. 

We want to renew the existing Hamstraat/Voorterstraat traffic circle and expand it with 2 additional exits. To ensure traffic safety, two bridges will be constructed so that pedestrians and cyclists can safely cross the new traffic circle.
