Former Kerkrade West Sports Hall gets new use

This new owner is ready to breathe new life into the sports hall. Here the focus is on sports and rehabilitation, vitality, health and employment. In the process, various other activities will be offered, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, exercise therapy, youth sports, rehabilitation counseling, nutritional counseling and health coaching.

With the recent construction of sports center "Vie" downtown, there was no longer a need for the use of Sporthal Kinderstad West. The former users are already housed elsewhere, benefiting from facilities at both Vie and the Flexiforum.

The renovated facility is expected to open its doors in mid-June 2024. This will usher in a new chapter for the former sports hall, where sports, health and wellness come together.
