Working visit by governor to Ukrainian refugee reception site
Monday, June 30, the governor of Limburg paid a working visit to the reception site for Ukrainian refugees in Kerkrade on Hammolenweg.
Mayor Dassen-Housen and Alderman John Roland welcomed the governor and explained how the municipality, together with partners, has provided housing for over 400 displaced persons.
The visit focused on the human dimension, the challenges and the resilience of the community. A valuable moment to reflect on what we make possible together - and on the efforts of many who contribute daily to shelter and support.
